The scion is all set to introduce its most expensive car, the 2013 Scion FR-S Coupe as a ‘Halo’ car attracting customers to come into the showroom and glance at it. The best part is that the car is within reach of the average performance enthusiast. Fuel mileage is supposed to fall within an EPA anticipated array of 22 mpg city and 34 mpg highway, depending on transmission choice.

  • Design (Exterior)

    The FR-S production was inspired by the Toyota 2000GT. However, the features that distinguish it are a smooth and low top and roof-line that makes the coupe appear sporty and aggressive along with providing aerodynamic efficiency. The total output produced by the system is 200 horsepower and 151 lb/ft of torque. What makes  this new Powertrain unique is its new D-4S injection system same as of Toyota. It is a technology that results in direct injection along with port injection.

    Safety is added to the car by means of vehicle stability control (VSC), traction control (TRAC), anti-lock brake system (ABS), brake assist (BA), highly developed airbags, and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The car comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

    The FR-S’s base price starts under $25,000.
