The EPA estimated fuel economy of the new 2013 STR Viper is 13mpg city and 18mpg highway. The new model receives an increase of 40hp and 40 lb-ft torque.
The new 2013 STR Viper features ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, child seat anchors, post-collision safety system, dual front headrests, daytime running lights, stability control system, traction control, and remote anti-theft alarm system, emergency interior trunk release and emergency braking assist.
Pricing and Warranty
The new 2013 STR Viper comes with a base price of $97,395 for the Base model and $120,395 for the GTS model and is backed by the manufacturer’s 3-year 36,000-mile warranty.
The new 2013 STR Viper has to compete against Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Nissan GTR, Porsche 911 Turbo, Lamborghini, Audi 8, Ferrari, and the next generation Acura NSX and Lotus Esprit. The car is able to beat all these cars but will face a bit of difficulty in chasing Ferrari and the new generation cars.
