2015 BMW X3

BMW has always been introducing better SAVs that make a difference and this weekend BMW decided to unveil their new 2015 BMW X3 SAV which is the second generation SAV.

BMW believes that the new SAV is certainly better than the earlier generation SAV as it introduces better features. When you take a quick look at the new 2015 BMW X3 you will find that there are no design changes that differentiate the second-generation X3 from the first generation car.

The car will be available in multiple markets apart from being launched in the United States market. The new changes that BMW has made to this vehicle are that it is available in diesel power and without all-wheel drive power.2015 BMW X3 SAV

In terms of the exterior, there are very minor changes that BMW designers have made. However, there are some design cues that have been changed on the front side of the vehicle. The all-new 2015 BMW X3 gets a new front bumper and revised BMW kidney grille that looks slightly different from the regular kidney grilles. The new twin circular headlights add to the aggressive and sporty appearance that it offers. The overall shape of the car and profile remains the same. The rear bumpers and exterior mirrors have also been modified along with new exterior colors.

2015 BMW X3 AWD System

The biggest changes that are made to the 2015 BMW X3 are under the hood. For the first time ever, X3 can be ordered without the xDrive AWD system. The all-new 2015 X3 sDrive28i is powered by BMW’s 2.0 liter TwinPower turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can produce 240 horsepower and 260 lb-feet of torque. The same engine is also available with the xDrive AWD system. The diesel version gets a TwinPower turbo diesel engine that generates only 180 horsepower and 280 lb-feet of torque. While BMW has not confirmed how fuel efficient the vehicle is but it is expected to offer 35mpg in the city. The most powerful version X3 will be xDrive35i which gets a six-cylinder engine that generates 300 horsepower. All X3 vehicles get a new eight-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds.

In terms of interiors, BMW has made the interiors look more refined than before. Chrome and gloss black trim pieces are all over the interiors. BMW has introduced better functionality and comfort while creating cabin space. There are new trim options available for the buyers of 2015 BMW X3 SAV.
