The Tokyo Motor Show is considered to be one of the major motor shows of the globe, allowing automobile manufacturers from all across the world in general and from Japan in particular to showcase some of their latest vehicles and to gain the attention of potential customers, who keep an eye on the event through media.
The Tokyo Motor Show takes place biennially, and in the previous 2011 edition, it drew around 850,000 visitors. Starting from November 22, the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show will continue till December 1, 2013, at the Big Sight International Exhibition Centre.
BMW is all set to present the BMW i3, a purely electrically powered vehicle, and the BMW i8, a plug-in hybrid car in the event.
On top of that, the popular automobile manufacturer will use this platform for the world premiere of the BMW 4 Series Convertible, which is an amazing open-top car, a dream come true for people who enjoy open-air driving. This four-seater stands out noticeably from the mid-range models of the BMW 3 Series, due to its specific design vocabulary. BMW achieved a remarkable and expressive presence in the 4 Series Convertible by increasing its size and adding unique aesthetics.
The Asian car show will debut notable vehicles such as the new BMW X5 and BMW R nineT. Different car makers will fiercely compete with BMW, and only time will determine the visitors’ preference.
