Audi R8 Coupe 2013 – Engine and Performance

You will find that Audi has not messed much with the mid-engine in the 2013 Audi R8. You will find those wonderful V-8 and V-10 engines still very much intact as Audi toys with the inspiration of an R8 V-12 TDI. There were several samples of a completely electric R8 e-Tron built. You will find 525-hp, 5.2-liter V-10 and 430-hp, 4.2-liter V-8 engines carrying over for 2013.  The gated 6-speed manual transmission also scurvies in the new Audi R8. However, you will find a new S tronic 7-speed twin-clutch auto in the next-gen R8.

You will find a new trim in the 2013 Audi R8 Coupe and Spyder known as V10 Plus. With specifically tuned dampers and springs, one can certainly feel the new model is much more powerful. The aero and styling updates too have done their bit. Audi R8 goes on sale in Europe, and the US later this year. Although Audi hasn’t been confirmed yet, fans can expect a glimpse of the car at an auto show soon.
