Dodge Charger Meant For Action Films
The new Dodge Charger (as shown at DeeryBrothers of Ames looks like it’s from the future. Tom Cruise should be driving one as they film him in some action-adventure movie. It’s got great lines, giving it a solid profile. It’s got the muscle to spare and enough horsepower to get you through any race in comfort and confidence. Knowing you’re going to win makes you feel great, but it can also make you feel sorry for the other guy in the race. Oh well.
Don’t some highway patrol units use this car for apprehending speeders? If they don’t they should. It’s the real deal and any speeder trying to outrun a new Charger is going to be one sorry and surprised ticket-getter. Just looking at the Charger makes you want one. Not so much for outrunning the cops, but for the cool factor. It gets a ten out of ten in the cool-o-meter. It also gets ten out of ten on the speed-o-meter. It’s just faster than the average bear. And faster than just about any other muscle car out there. Too.
Since the muscle cars comeback a few years ago, Dodge has taken on the same challenge it had in the 1960s. Dodge has built an unashamedly fast car that has all the trappings of a racecar and that also offers comfortable interiors. In other words, Dodge has come through again. Thousands of Charger enthusiasts are grateful to Dodge for stepping up to the plate and hitting a home run – for them. The attitude is back: fast does matter, as well as style. Dodge’s Charger has it all.

Although it harkens back to forty or so years ago, the new Charger is a car that can stand on its own. It does have a powerful engine and a smooth transmission, just like the Charger from 1968. But this Charger is also getting terrific reviews on its comfy cabin and luxury amenities. It’s also being acknowledged as one of the safest cars in its class. Who knew?
Most people are going to buy the new Charger because of its speed and smooth handling. There will be a few who will drive it off the lot because of the soft materials in the cabin and the way it looks on the outside. No one is right and no one is wrong. It does offer an enormous amount of things for both those who want the muscle car and for those who want a comfortable, large car.
