Chevrolet Blazer

As a car lover, it’s hard not to admire the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. When you have had the opportunity to see the Chevrolet Blazer develop into its new form, it strikes you just how different this car is. The cars always came in the 2-door or 4-door SUV style and were housing everything from a 1.9L Isuzu 14 engine to the 4.3 L (262 cu in) 4300 V6 engine. Things changed now with the end of retail sales for the Chevrolet Blazer on April 20, 2005. Now, with the Chevrolet Blazer making a comeback, it’s interesting how the car sports different muscular proportions and a strong grille as opposed to the basic front end with two headlights’ design.

Chevrolet Blazer Design

The car seems to be sporting a rather different design than the older models I grew up with as a kid. What is really interesting about this, compared to the Chevy vehicles of the past bearing the Blazer emblem, is this really seems to be honing in on it being a sports car of sorts. With its crossover design, you may begin to see that it truly has light proportions, a wide stance, a sculpting with dramatic flair to it, and a high beltline. All of these pieces of the Blazer puzzle led Global Chevrolet Design Executive Director John Cafaro to declare this car having attitude.

“The Blazer has attitude,” Cafaro said. “It looks commanding on the road, while fulfilling the promise of versatility at the heart of every Chevy crossover.” It’s no wonder this vehicle will be a seller for Hank Graff, Bay City. But, that’s not the only point that will attract buyers to this amazing car.

All New Chevrolet Blazer

It features the standard 2.5L I-4 engine but also the 3.6L V-6 engines with each coming with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5L I-4 is rated at 193 hp (143 kW) and 188 lb-ft of torque while the 3.6L V-6 offers 305 hp (227 kW) and 269 lb-ft of torque. Blazer Chief Engineer Waqar Hashim believes this car is more than just its beautiful exterior, however.

“The Chevrolet Blazer is more than just good looks,” Hashim said. “Both the Ecotec 2.5L four-cylinder engine and 3.6L V-6 engine are paired to Chevrolet’s nine-speed automatic transmission, providing drivers a great balance between performance and efficiency.”

It can also move up to 4,500 pounds with the trailer hitch it comes with! As a boater myself, you cannot wait to cruise up north and take your boat as you go. This will help a great deal with gas mileage for those looking at that as a concern. With the Hitch View feature that is part of this experience, you will be able to take that boat safely up north while seeing everything behind you.

Chevrolet Blazer Gadgets

Complete with adaptive cruise control too on the RS and Premier models, the new Blazer also offers an electronic locking glove box, automatic hearted seats, an automatic heated steering wheel, hands-free power liftgate, and wireless charging and six USB ports on the vehicle.

The connectivity also includes an eight-inch-diagonal touchscreen that runs Chevrolet Infotainment 3 that comes standard, alongside 4G LTE Wi-Fi (with 1-month/3GB data trial), Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility.

Traction Select comes standard with all of these models, which gives the driver the chance to make real-time adjustments to their driving mode, based on the road conditions varying. With specific all-wheel-drive (AWD) models, the Traction Select allows the system to be disconnected from the rear axle, which means drivers can opt to have their car in four-wheel-drive (FWD) when AWD is not necessary.

If you are purchasing either the RS or Premier models of the 2019 Chevy Blazer, you will find a better twin-clutch AWD technology, which assists in the optimization of traction for every condition out there. This could provide great performance for snowy or icy road conditions while maintaining increased stability throughout drier climates.

Suffice it to say, I am excited by the very notion of the 2019 Chevy Blazer. Hopefully, you see that the vehicle is indeed worth a purchase or lease.
