Lamborghini Huracan has already replaced the much popular Gallardo, but that ain’t stopping Lamborghini from unveiling their new race car, the all new Huracan GT3. The bright green car is easily visible because of its unique color, but unlike the regular Huracan this is not for the streets, but for the race. Lamborghini mentioned that the new GT3 will be in the Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe this season. The Italian carmaker also mentioned that this will be the first time that they are participating or are being involved in GT motorsport activities
Lamborghini also mentioned that they are focusing on motorsport activities in the future and for that they are partnering with Pertamina, an Indonesian oil and energy company which is also an official technical partner of Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse. The new GT3 sports composite exterior body while the aerodynamics are worked by Dallara Engineering. The entire cage is made up of aluminum- carbon chassis to cut down the weight and to provide better front-rear weight distribution. Lamborghini said that the car will also race at various other circuits throughout the year and will be involved in other series as well. For a private collector the car price starts at 369,000 euros.
