German automaker Mercedes Benz has decided to go the electric way and have announced its B-Class Electric Drive that offers zero local emissions. The automaker mentioned that the new vehicle is now available to order and deliveries will start before the end of 2014.
In terms of styling, the all new 2015 Mercedes Benz B-Class will have sophisticated exterior styling. The new vehicle will come up host of customizations and equipment lines that buyers can choose from. While buyers can go for Style and Urban equipment line they can also choose Electric Art equipment line that offers distinctive appearance to the vehicle. It will feature two paintwork finishes, 18 inch multi-spoke light alloy wheels and radiator grilles. It will also have 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with perforated leather and silver-chrome highlights. Buyers can also choose Exclusive package that offers better interior and exterior styling features.
The automaker will also provide Range Plus feature that allows the users to get more from their car. The feature is integrated in the upper control panel and extends the chargeable capacity of the battery. The Range Plus comes with several other features like radar based regenerative braking system, acoustic vehicle alerting, charging cable and wide range of features. With better safety features, Mercedes Benz B-Class Electric Drive is safer as it offers Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Attention Assist that are included as standard features. However, users can go for optional Intelligent Light System that comprises of bi-xenon headlamps and variable light distribution and dynamic range adjustment. The base price of the vehicle is $41,450 excluding the destination charges.
