Car makers like Nissan are now focusing more on the content and facilities than on design and therefore Nissan has now unveiled a customized Chicago Taxi that offers some of the top features that can offer more to metropolitan cab service in Chicago.
At the Chicago Auto Show, Nissan revealed that the city of Chicago has more than 7000 cabs in service and Nissan wanted to offer something to the cab drivers and the passengers that make things easier for both. To make this process interactive Nissan decided to allow consumers to share their thoughts through social media using Twitter and Facebook using #HailYes hashtag.
The all new Nissan NV200 taxi was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show that has the green and white design factor on the outside and offers more options to the passengers. The new taxi offers USB charging facility, anti-fatigue driver seats, and panoramic sky view of the city, reduced odors, better leg space, bigger cargo space and other convenience factor. Fred Diaz, Senior Vice President at Nissan Sales and Marketing for Parts and Services, USA said that they have received great feedback from drivers and riders in New York and therefore they are introducing the same taxi service in Chicago as well.
Nissan also believes that the #HailYes campaign will work in the future as well as they will engage with Chicagoans on how they can improve their taxi experience. The automaker also revealed that they have taken inputs from taxi drivers, fleet owners and passengers to make the new NV200 a better vehicle for the streets.
